Capers is proud to be awarded the 2011 Whitsunday Tourism Award for best Restaurant.

		Posted: 11:17am, Thu 20 Oct 2011 Why did we win?  Well not one to want to boast, but we think it could be because we buy most of our produce direct from local farmers, so our guests are eating the freshest food possible. It could also be because we take guests on a monthly ‘paddock to the plate’ farm tour called Localvore, or it could just be that we are open 365 days of the year and offer guests incredible oceanfront views whilst dining for breakfast, lunch, dinner, TAPAS or coffee’s in between.  Thanks everyone for your ongoing support.   Fingers crossed we win the Queensland Tourism Award for best restaurant, two years in a row!
