Posted: 9:00am, Mon 14 Feb 2011 Capers rocked this past Sunday to the sounds of local and visitting musicians. In aid of the flood relief appeal, over $5,000 was raised from auctions and profits from the bar. Starting at midday the event was MC'd by Pete Bek with performers including Nathan Kennedy, Cory Carlyon, Jon Griffin, John Godfrey, Keaton, and Kieren McCarthy. Also playing was Santos Blues Band, Cold Shot and MTV.
Auction prizes were donated by various Airlie Beach and Whitsunday businesses, including Fantasea, Cruise Whitsunday, Hamilton Island, Endota Spa, Airlie Day Spa, Spa Allure, and others.
